TAR

Traveling far to get to Tar,
Having good reason to go that far.

Arrival at Tar,
Means the day is over half done,
And there is not enough time to define.

It becomes tiring when the scene,
seems to never have a conclusion.

The time finally comes to return home.
It just alternates into another day,
To travel to Tar so far.

Travelers of Time

When people speak of time travel, they
imagine instantly moving from one
year or century to another.
Time travel could be the time we spend
coming to earth, living on earth, and
leaving earth to an ambiguous destination
in our travels.

Most adventurers hope for the day we
could move through time from one century
to another. This is their imagination
based on something else.

Is true time travel the time we spend
on the planet we call earth. A place full
of adventures. Why you asks would
someone say adventures.

Where else in this universe, do you know
we can meet millions of personalities.
Each one unique in its own way, meeting
them we can sometimes see similarities
that does apply. But all in all, they are
unique to this time an place on earth.

We need not go to the next century to
make good of this past, nor go to the
past to make good of this future. We
need to stay on our present track, to
find the answers to the truth.

But in our travels…

Is it their truth we seek, or is it our truth.
As we travel through time, we will continue
to search for that which we all ready possess.

However our soul will always be seeking
acknowledge wherever we go.

Dream Elsewhere

I normally do not remember dreams, but recently they
have been clinging to my memory. Thinking about them,
I have decided to paint them on canvas board. This is
the first of this series. The next one is on the easel now.

The Challenging Adventures Among Small Creatures

The most difficult is the Dragonfly. It takes time and
patients to gain their trust. The Dragonfly in these
pictures was the most challenging.

While out in the garden, this dragon landed, walking
around the garden to get a closer look. He just sit as
I slowly moved in for the shot. At only a few feet
away he flew darting around overhead.

He came in for a landing, making me walk all the way
around the garden again. A few feet away he flew again.
Standing still, watching, he began to change altitude. The
dragon would fly a foot or more above my head. He then
flew to the other side of the yard. Loosing sight of him,
suddenly he flew pass my head. Stopped to hover out in
front of me, moving toward me a foot at a time, until he
was about two feet from my face. The dragon hovered
for about a minute, making me feel like we were eye to
eye. He started darting around again, he moved to my
right and behind me. I slowly turn to see where he had
gone.

When I saw him landing about six feet away. I moved
in slowly readying my camera. Got a few feet away,
reaching out with camera in hand, started shooting. The
dragon sit as I moved to the side, and to the front taking
a few pictures each time. I moved slowly in for a facial
shot, when he flew away.

As he hovered close by, I said Thank You. Feeling
happy with what I had.

Dependent Throughout

To take some clay to form,
After conceiving a form in my head.
Nothing will happen until I begin to
  take action.

I am only one of many other causes
  and conditions.
The combination of clay and water.
Beyond this, the molecules, atoms,
and other particles must come together.
Which themselves are dependent on
  innumerous factors.

There is also, the circumstances to my
  decision what to make.
The conditions of my actions to give
  the clay shape.
All these factors are clear that it cannot
  come into being independently.
It is dependent throughout the creation.

Morning Walks

As I walk the beach at sunrise the light is almost perfect for pictures. I also like to experiment with the fountain downtown.

Something About Something

If I were to tell you something
  about something.
I would be telling you nothing.
Something about something
Could be anything.
Anything you may be dreaming
Or anything you maybe hoping
  for.
Something about something
Could be like a life story.
Your life and what you make of
  it.
Could make you something into
  something more.
Something about something
Maybe nothing.
But it could be alot for someone.

The Birds Are Singing

The birds are singing in the morning.
The new day has begun.
A new dream is to be worked for.
It's time to get under way.

The birds are singing in the noontime.
The new dream has started blooming.
Watching it grow is a blessing.
And the end can be seen.

The birds are singing in the evening.
As the sun sets in the west.
With the sky a beautiful red.
The dream is fulfilled and it"s time to rest.

Out of the Dark

On a bright starry night, a man walked through the forest. A misty fog began to form along the ground. He could hear movement behind the trees and brushes. So he stepped up his pace, until he came to a clearing. Stopping to take a breather, the wolves came out of the dark. At first he wasn’t sure what to do. Thinking for a minute, he slowly took two steps back. A wolf to his left began to growl. He stopped and looked at the wolf. Another wolf barked, and the wolf stopped growling.

He was afraid, but knew not to run. He looked to his right at the wolf that barked. The wolf slowly lower his head and tail, and began to walk toward him. The man watched him as he came closer. When the wolf came within touching distance, he raised his head, licking him on the hand. The man had fear running through his body. But he still slowly reached out and touched the wolf on the head. The wolf backed away a few steps. The man felt so relieved, he began to laugh. The wolf wagged his tail.

Feeling this relieve, the man began slowly walking down the trail. The wolves followed close behind. One by one they came up behind him, touching him on his legs. He quickened his pace, until they were running. As they ran, the wolves began to jump at him in a playful way. Speaking to him in there native tongue.

They came to a clearing and stopped. Down on his hands and knees trying to catch his breath. He looked up and saw the wolves had made a circle around him. All at once, they began to howl, as the mist grew thicker. He began to feel strange and cold. Lying on the ground, he pulled his knees to his chest and warping his arms around his legs. He slowly went to sleep.

When he woke, the mist was gone and the full moon was shining bright in the sky. He stood up, realizing something was different. The wolf came over to him, and directed him to the stream. He looked into the stream and was startled to see the face of a wolf in the waters reflection. He moved his head from side to side to see if it was really him. Fear ran through his body. But in an instant it turned into overwhelming joy. He began to run and jump from one side of the clearing to the other.

After he had worn off some of the excitement, they went into the forest. As they journeyed, it was running and playing, along with searching for food. After some time had past, they came upon an animal. The pack backed away from him. They began to move around one another yapping. When they return to where he was waiting, they let him know, that they had agreed that he should make the kill. He was very surprised that they had chosen him. They saw in him, that he was a little nervous. So they encouraged him. When he found the courage within himself, he stocked the animal and made the kill. The wolves howled with joy.

As he was tearing the flesh from the animal’s body, he looked around and saw his brothers and sisters. They looked at him with there heads low to the ground, as if asking to join him for the meal. He motioned to them to join him. As they all ate, he was surprised how sweet the meat was. The feelings he had about the kill, were gratifying.

After they had finished eating, twilight began to show. So they all ran back to the clearing where it began. The wolves made there circle around him. All at once, they began to howl, the thick mist move slowly in as he lay down to sleep.

When he woke up, the sun was in his face. He looked down at his body, he was human again.
